INGREDIENTS
VANILLA CUPCAKES:
- 1 and 1/2 cups All purpose flour
- 1 and 1/2 cups granulated Sugar
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large Eggs, room temperature
- 2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/3 cup Vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup buttermilk, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sour cream, room temperature
VANILLA BUTTERCREAM:
- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup Hi-ratio Shortening
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 4 cups Powdered Sugar, sifted
- 1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 and 1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 tsp Pure Almond Extract (optional)
ADDITIONAL:
- Few drops of Teal food colouring (optional)
- Sprinkle blend (I used a mixture of Pink sprinkles, White sprinkles and Confetti sprinkles)
